Unable to pay your Rent & Service Charges

If you are unable to pay your rent or service charges please contact your Housing Officer or the Customer Services Team immediately and explain your problem. Do not delay in getting in touch with us. We are here to help you in these circumstances.

  • We will ask you to work out how much you can realistically afford and make an arrangement with you.

  • Make sure that you have applied for housing benefit. You may be entitled to this, which will help with your rent.

  • If you have multiple debt problems, or have had a sudden drop in your income, contact us and we can help and advise you. We can also put you in touch with various organizations and agencies such as the Citizens Advice Bureau and your local welfare rights centre who will be able to advice you further in complete confidence.
