Retirement Housing
Retirement Housing, which is sometimes know as sheltered housing, is housing that is specifically provided for people over a certain age and provides secure and comfortable accommodation with various levels of independence for individuals.
Although we don’t have specific sheltered housing schemes, we do have a number of schemes designed for mature and elderly people. These schemes do have a low level of support in the form of an alarm system, which is installed in the accommodation and linked to a central control service. The central control will hold emergency contact information and can call for help if the alarm is activated.
The individual will have a pendant call alarm or pull cords in the property. There is no on-site warden.
Harden Housing has a limited number of these schemes in the West Midlands.
